UIC International Friends
A
faith based club
We serve the University of Illinois at Chicago community by offering activities to help break cultural barriers between International and American students.
Our aim is to have lasting impact on the students who walk through our doors that go beyond the classroom.

We will facilitate community through small group weekly meetings, English Conversation groups and other activities to be announced throughout the semester. We will aid international students in finding American friends that can help with their understanding of the English language as well as the American culture. Optional Bible discussions and mentoring opportunities will be made available to interested students. We will also provide a monthly social events. Periodically, we may do "Service Within the City" projects where we help a school, a club or certain social organizations with some of the practical needs.

Some of these activities include:
  • Monthly recreational events like picnics
  • English Conversation Classes
  • Toastmaster Public Speaking
  • ALPHA COURSE - Is there more to life series?
  • Leadership Training
  • Explore the Bible series
  • Community Projects
  • Retreats and Field Trips
Scroll down for this week activities.
